There was so much introduced in this short section of verses. Mid-way down there is a pink highlight that I didn’t have room to address on the page. My thought here is about God asking questions He certainly already knows the answer to. We see this throughout the Bible. It is a way for Him to start a conversation with someone. This approach gives them the chance to bring up a difficult topic. It allows them to talk to Him about something that is hard to discuss.
REFLECTION QUESTIONS:
- Have you ever felt inadequate for something God has called you to do?
- How do you respond when God asks you to step out in faith?
- Are you relying on God’s strength or making excuses like Moses?
